Linda and Scott on a day hike to the Dolomites

3/9/2018 Linda Rebecca Carson Lieser offered some details: "The lady in sunglasses is Elerina Novello, Vitoriano's sister and the daughter of the older Novellos. The location is somewhere in the Dolomites, easily reachable from Vicenza for a day trip. The other two were her friends. I do not know their names. I remember one of these trips where we were walking through snow down from a refugio sucking on a sugar cube soaked in grappa! (a sweet Italian liquer made from grape husks)"

7/5/2022 Linda added: "Standing on our balcony at the Novello's apartment house on Via Parenzo, we could see the lights of cars on the mountains near Asiago."
