Scott and Linda in the Italian Alps
This photo is really about the bikes: our first. We both learned how to ride using Mr. Novello's much larger men's bike. I remember my shoulder hitting the bar as I scootched under it.
The door to the left leads to the basement where Mr. Novello made wine from the grapes grown on the property. The windows lead to Ellerina's shop where she made sweaters on a machine.—Linda Rebecca Carson Lieser.
