Skiing at Hotel Miramonti in the Italian Alps

Alfred getting his first taste of skiing. In years later, we never recall him talking about this feat which leads us to believe it was not a future hobby! The hotel is located in Cortina d'Ampezzo where Alfred and Luigia would return to later the same year for their honeymoon. The hotel was also made famous when featured in the James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only".
